Nutrition is vitally important for health. We are increasingly recognising the role that specific nutrients play in health and disease.
Certain foods and dietary regimes are considered to be better for those with musculoskeletal complaints. Similarly, avoiding certain dietary elements can impair healing and can aggravate arthritis. Nutrition is also important for sporting activity, to improve performance and also to aid rapid recovery after training and competition.
